I am a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
Broadly, I examine the intersection of justice, policing, and rural inequality in Indian Country. My dissertation work explores tribal-state cooperative law enforcement agreements and how they may shape criminal justice processes.
As a former Americorps volunteer and researcher for non-profits such as The Minnesota Justice Research Center , I hold a deep commitment to public sociology/criminology and believe in generating scholarship that engages issues important to both academic and non-academic audiences.
